Sports psychology
I work from a practical, applied approach to sports psychology. We start from what happens to you in training and competition, understand why it happens and train resources to handle it where it shows up.
I speak the language of the locker room. We build a relationship of trust, without distance or jargon, so you can talk about what's really going on.
We learn by doing. Games, challenges and real situations that turn mental skills into something you train, not just something you're told about.
From the consulting room to the court. What we work on in session has to reach training and competition, and whenever possible we also work in the athlete's real context.
Always from a sporting context: what happens in training, in competition and in the athlete's daily life.
Understanding what you feel before, during and after competing, why certain reactions appear and what resources you have to manage them.
Big matches, expectations and fear of failing. Learning to compete with pressure instead of fighting it.
Where your attention goes at each moment of the game and how to get it back after a mistake.
Confidence built on what you train, not only on the last result.
What drives you to train and compete, and how to sustain it through the hard parts of the season.
Communication, roles and trust between teammates so the group works on and off the court.
My work moves between the consulting room and the sporting context. These are the ways I work.

Psychological work inside the club, close to the team's daily life: cohesion, communication and the situations that come up in training and competition.

Work with young athletes, such as those called up by the Spanish Padel Federation: understanding their emotions and learning resources they can take onto the court.

Working with athletes on what happens in training and competition: pressure, confidence, focus and emotional management.
